With this major, you will leave Laurel U with a greater understanding of how to counsel in one-on-one, small-group, marriage and family settings.

When you graduate, you may serve in your local church, faith-based ministries and other human service provider agencies and organizations. Or you may continue with graduate and post-graduate studies, complete licensing requirements to become a licensed counselor.
